Wonderful Movers, great price
When I called, I was impressed by the kind professional manner of the owner. He explained everything, answered all my questions, and when the movers came, it was exactly the way it was explained. They were careful with all my art, my Baby grand Piano, and my pool table. they padded everything, protected the new floors, and put everything together. Men were in uniforms, truck was new and clean and they had GPS tracking and directions so not only did they know where they were going, their boss could track them step by step. Very modern and up to date. Got reccomended to them by a large retirement community director in Tempe were they have been working for years with them.

Awful expierence using AZ Budget Movers
I hired this mover to move a baby grand piano and household possessions in the spring of 2008 into a house that I was remodeling. I had the mover first move the piano and household items into the house one month (because I needed to move out of my existing home) and then I had them come back approximately 6 weeks later to move more items into the house and set up the piano. When they moved the items the first month they came out no problems occurred.

When they come back I did encounter significant problems that still haven't been resolved. First, in setting up the piano, the movers tried to roll the piano on its steel wheels across a new wood floor. This really damaged the floor as it has track marks running across the floor. The movers also couldn't locate the hardware that was needed to put the piano back together. The movers response was that they put the hardware somewhere in the living room where they put the piano parts. Typically, professional movers will tape hardware parts to larger furniture items so that the hardware won't get lost. I would have expected that a professional company would know how to do this. I would also expect that the high fees they charge to move a piano would guarantee that they move it professionally and not move it like it was an old dresser.

Once I was aware of the damage, I tried to contact the owner of the company over 10 times. No calls were returned. I then had to write a letter to the company to document the issues that needed to be addressed, which my credit card company told me to do. I didn't get a call back from the owner but I finally got a call back from the two workers who moved the piano and they basically called to argue that they couldn't possibly be responsible for the problems. I told them they needed to come out and see the damage. They scheduled a time to come out later in the week but they never showed up.

Now I'm having to pursue other options for getting the damage fixed.

An honest and reliable moving company.
I highly recommend Az. Budget Movers. We've hired them 6 or more times during the past years, and I'm about to hire them again today. In my opinion, Az. Budget Movers is the honest and reputable moving service that is comparable in price with other moving services, but incredibly quick. Az. Budget Movers perform the "move" for the residential or company client who wants things done properly and on time.

No ethics.
Unbelievable! Because my job entails setting up new stores throughout the entire phoenix valley, we move from apartment to apartment....and quite often. We were strongly recommended by a friend to use a moving company with 28 years experience (600,000+ moves) who's name sounds close to AZ Budget Movers. My wife promptly booked our move two weeks before the date and followed up with a call to confirm two days before the move. This is where it gets unbeleavable...referring back to the phonebook, my wife mistakenly called Arizona Budget Movers (ABM) to confirm. After our address and phone numbers were confirmed, my wife was slightly puzzled when she was asked to move the arrival time up two hours to 7 AM. On the day of the move the movers arrived in an unwashed, older unmarked truck and quietly and recklessly rushed our possesions onto the truck. They scratched the door of the appartment and dropped one of our stereo speakers to the ground right in front of us. Our protests were futile since the mover spoke absolutely no English! I then stayed behind to vaccum and clean up the apartment. Within 10 minutes of the old truck pulling away a clean moving truck arrived with two English speaking movers. (bearing the logo of the company I originally booked with) They were there to begin the move! As it turns out ABM had underhandedly hijacked the move upon my wifes misdialed confirmation call! It's no wonder they were early and visibly rushed. I quickly called the ABM office and spoke with the owner named Clint who maintaned that the move was legitimate and that he would look into any 'allegations'. When I arrived at our new apartment to meet my wife she was in tears and furious. The recklessness of the ABM movers was overwhelming. The damage claim we filed was ignored, and Clint did not return one phone call. It is painfully obvious that Arizona Budget Movers does not speak the language of 'Ethics', 'Character' or 'Proffesionalism'. BE WARNED!!
