Excellent service
I stopped by yesterday and it is obvious their employees are very passionate about working there. Great knowledge of trees and shrubs and what great service. They are a little more expensive than Home Depot and Lowes but the information they gave me about tree care and selection will save me more money in the long run (they kept me from selecting the wrong tree for my situation which I would not have received from the others).‎

Wow! Organic Seedlings...
I came here for the first time today from my new digs in Glendale. It was totally worth the trip. I've looked high and low for healthy, organically grown seedlings and was baffled as to why the Metro area didn't have such a place. I was told by Jerry that they do not use herbacides, pesticides, etc. Wish I would have found it before I purchased my seeds online but definitely my new, favorite, local-ish place for anything horticulture. They even have kale. How exciting. The customer service and knowledge was outstanding. Skip the Whitfills and Moon Valleys. You're gonna wanna check this place out.‎

Customer service is exellent! Very helpful staff. I live about 2 miles from Whitfill's (Horrible Service, not neighborhood friendly. Unless you know exactly what your looking for) but will always drive 10 miles to Bakers. I have been to Whitfill's numerous times in the past with the same results.‎

Wonderful Place for Everyone
My husband and I visited Bakers Nursery for the first time this weekend and were simply stunned. The selection of the plants was amazing and the wonderful staff was a complete surprise. These folks truly know what they're talking about. Coming from someone who shops at Home Depot and Lowe's Garden Centers, this was a completely different experience. Employees at those big box places have no idea how to help you and will simply read the tag on the plant when you ask for advice. The staff member at Bakers who helped us gave us a tour of the different sections of the nursery and then helped us find the type of plants we were looking for. Then she gave us some time to ourselves and even when we were alone, we were asked several times by other staff members if we were doing okay. I will go out of my way to purchase my plants here from now on. There aren't many places like this in the state anymore and we need to keep them in business. Enjoy your first visit like we did!‎
