Better than Directv (a little bit better)
I came back to CableOne because they finally offered NFL network...yea right!! I was assured that that there would be no or very little pixilation...yea right! I was assured that outages would be minimal...yea right!! Quality and usage gets worse and the cost goes up every year.
Every day I thank my lucky stars that I didn't bundle my internet!!

UNRELIABLE
I have had cable TV and Internet in CA, OR, FL and AZ ... I thought the OR and FL internet reliability was horrible UNTIL I started using Cable One ... Cable One has the worst cable show lineup and most unreliable internet I have ever had. That's saying a lot because Brighthouse in FL is really really bad and Cable One is worse. I think if they had any competition here in PV there would be a vast improvement in their service. It's like having cable in the USSR back in the day before the wall came down ... JUST PLAIN BAD

Don't bother.
I have had CableOne for about 2.5 months now due to the need for higher speeds than Qwest provides in my area. In that time i have had one 2 week span of un-interrupted service. Service gets interrupted nearly every day, and more often than not, multiple times a day. The speeds i get are quite fast...but all the speed in the world is quite worthless if it doesn't work. There is clearly something wrong in my neighborhood...and i have very good reason to suspect that CO knows what the problem is, but has determined that it costs too much to repair, and has instructed their techs to inform their victims that they are currently working on the problem, even though they have no intention of fixing it. Calling the tech-support after hours is a complete waste of time since all they do is tell you to unplug and re-boot the modem. After that, they send a tech out to read your signal. My signal is fine, but drops suddenly...usually at night when no-one can check it...so we keep going through the same old cycle, even though they already know the problem is NOT at my house. The good news is that Qwest has told me that they will be offering higher speeds later in the year, and at that point CO is DONE as my ISP. And if they don't get this fixed by weeks end ( unlikely ), my next call will be to cancel my service and go back to my slow, reliable Qwest. Do not use CableOne. I would give them no stars if possible.

First, We made an appointment to have our internet installed, then, after missing work and waiting four hours, we called them up to see what happened. They had no idea about our appointment or our information. we had to do the 30 minute process all over again. Second, I have a laptop. To use this internet, I have to sit no more than 5 feet away from the router. If i dont, the internet shuts down every 5 minutes. Third, I am not good at computers, so when i went to download something that appeared free, cable one felt it was necessary to shut down our internet until i wrote a letter of apology for downloading the program. It took a week to get my internet back on.

Worst internet service ever. Every morning between the hours of 7 and 11 you have intermittent internet lags or failure, and then again between the hours of 5 PM and midnight. I do school online, work online and there are hours every day where I simply can't get online in any reliable fashion.
