Dr. Coll is FINEST KIND by Roger W. at InsiderPages
Growing up in a family stocked with doctors, and pharmacists, and then becoming a nurse myself, I have known and worked with many physicians in many settings. I can tell you without a doubt that Dr. Coll is one of the best.

LOVE Dr. Coll by Roxie M. at InsiderPages
I also ran across Mimi's message and had to add my two cents. I find Dr. Coll to be a FANTASTIC doctor. Not only is he a fine doctor, but you can tell he TRULY cares about his patients and loves being a doctor for what it is (or what it should be): caring for patients (and not for financial reasons). If Mimi had continued her medication w/o being seen and then had something happen to her either because of the meds or some other reason, I'm sure she would have been upset and/or sued Dr. Coll for not making him see her. There are a lot of requirements doctors have to fulfill to meet their ethical obligations... I'm sure seeing a patient no matter how long they've been on a medication is one of them. Sometimes it's a hassle to make the time and spend the money to see a doctor, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Dr. Coll Rocks! by Maria P. at InsiderPages
I just stumbled upon this site while trying to get Dr. Coll's information to a friend who wants to start seeing him as her doctor. I was horrified to see Mimi A.'s review not to mention noticing that it has been sitting on this website for a year and a half now with no rebuttal. 20 years of medication. 20 years of what medication? Is it a controlled pain medication? Diabetic medication? Blood pressure? Blood thinner? What? How long had it been since the last time you saw Dr. Coll before your medication ran out? Controls on medication have changed drastically in the last 5-10 years. With the exception of controlled pain medication, ALL medications fall under either the 6 months or 1 year rule. What that means is if your medication runs out and you haven't seen the doctor in 6 months to a year depending on the medication (only 3 months for controlled medication) you HAVE to go in and see the Dr. BY LAW. How long you've been taking the drug prior to that is irrelevant not to mention we don't know your condition from this review. Maybe there are extenuating circumstances you're keeping from the rest of us that Dr. Coll is well aware of and that's why he needed you to come in. Assuming he's just wanting you to come in for your money is ridiculous. How any of this has to do with bedside manner is beyond me. P-L-EA-SE! Your account of the situation is way too vague for me to even remotely consider you credible on this issue and it might be a good idea for you to know the law first too. And like it's his fault you don't have insurance? You have really torqued me with this one. Dr. Coll is an excellent doctor and his bedside manner has been just wonderful for me for over 10 years now. His first name is quite appropriate because Dr. Roch Coll really ROCKS!
