Could they mess anything else up?....
So, my husband, my 1 yr old daughter, and I decide to go and get the oil changed on our truck. We have been going to Dannys for some time now. We are never truely happy with the results, but we live in an apartment and its just easier to take it there then to do it ourselves. Anyway, I realize that we had been sitting there for quite a while so my husband and I go up to the counter to see whats going on. One of the gentlemen that works out in the shop helps us and pulls our paperwork that had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. Our name had never been called or anything to let us know that the truck was done in the shop. So by this time the truck had already been through the carwash waxed and dried. The when I bring this up to the cashier, she tells me its because I didnt here them call us or its because we werent in the area to hear it. We were sitting right next to where they call the names from and it wasnt loud enough in the place for us to miss our name being called. Thats just the start, me finally get my daughter and ourselves in the truck and start driving off, when my husband notices that the truck is picking up speed, and his foot isnt even on the gas peddle. We get to a red light and stop. As he took his foot very lightly off the break peddle the whole truck jumped like it was being races because the RPMs had build so much. The gas peddle was stuck down. So thank god that my husband was in the truck and driving because I would not have known what to do while driving. Any way, he manages to get onto a side street and get the truck turned off. As he is looking around under the hood I hear a loud bang like something had been dropped, no it was what was keeping the gas peddle locked. Then I call the corp. office today just to let them know what had happed and how upset I was and they actually asked me if it was the floor mat that was holding down the pe

paying for damage
I got a oil change and car wash at danny's the other day. My antenna on my vehicle only went down to where it was sticking up abut 6 inches, the employee forced it all the way down by hand, which caused the antenna motor to grind really bad everytime I turn my vehicle on and off. Unfortunately, my music came on right away when i left and didn't hear it until i got home and turned my vehicle off, it was too late in the evening to go back, so I went back the next day after work, they said there was nothing they could do about it because they "didn't know" if it was doing that before i went there (which I know for a fact that it wasn't) and gave me the general managers phone number, I went home and called him and left a message, I never heard back from him. I highly recommend staying away from that place and all of their other locations who hires young (probably illegal) employees who don't care for the cars they are working on.

Also had a so-so experience
Like the other reviewer, I went once and haven't been back. I also thought that for the money that they charge that they should have a more enthusiastic staff that acts like they want to help you. They did do a good job on my car though. It took a little longer than I expected, but atleast I had a clean car when I left.

PROS: You don't have to wash your own car
CONS: A little pricey considering the customer service that I received.

I'm DONE with Danny's!
Paid $50 for a hand wash and hand wax yesterday, since it rained I brought it back. I was watching the guys drying it, they were goofing off and treating my car very roughly (throwing the door open, etc.). When they were done, I inspected my new black sports car to find a deep 4" scratch on the driver's side. When I asked the guy how that happened he just shrugged and walked away. I called for a manager. The manager brought the guy who waxed my car yesterday over and he said that the scratch was there yesterday (it was NOT). Said there was nothing that could be done and told me that "this man never lies". I guess that I am the liar then? I will never PAY to have my car damaged like this again. I'll tell everyone I know and warn them to STAY AWAY!
