aluminum cans
they pay 1 of the lowest in the city I would definitely go somewhere else if I was you. At least call around. 60 cents for aluminum cans, that's sad low

totally nice (sorry if repeat.unsure if 1st submit worked)
(not sure if this will duplicate the review that i tried to post a minute ago.... unintentional, but i wanted to be sure to post my positive review, b/c i think it's just as important to get the word out about a good company as it is to share a negative experience, so....)
the guy that answered the phone when i called was totally nice - even funny - when i called him with a random, NOT work related request.
my husband 4got his cell phone when he went2davis. i called2try2get msg2him. i totally expected to be blown off, probably rudely at that. instead, not only was the guy nice and funny on the phone, he evidently gave my husband the message!
my husband was less than thrilled that i had managed to track him down, but that's beside the point...( it's called "don't 4get your cell phone if you don't want me to call where you're going, dude....") haha
also, probably more important to most people reading this review: my husband ONLY sells scrap 2 Davis. He says that THEY PAY THE BEST.
anyway, heck yeah, we recommend them!
(finally, since i'm not sure what i'm sposed 2 put under 'price range' below, i'll choose an amount that reflects an amount that i no they've paid us. i hope i'm doing it rite....)

The two guys behind the counter are by far the nicest people you would want to do business with, no attitudes there! Its is to me the best place to recycle and the only place I go, In and out in minutes with a thank you and have a nice day. Oh yea there is always something good to watch on the flat screen

Its hard to find folks in this industry that arent just callous and inconsiderate. I called, asked a couple questions, and they answered, WITHOUT an attitude! Thats a rarity. He seemed almost happy to answer them. Thats how you run a business. They will recycle cans, old bike parts, whatever!

I have been going to Davis Salvage for about20 years and I have always found a good price on metal of almost any type. The prices are hard to beat and you can just walk in and browse around to find what you need. They have all sizes and shapes of Aluminum, Brass, Stainless Steel, Steel Angle and Channel, Ornamental Iron Work Trim, Sheet Metal, and much more.
