Dont go here by tony h. at InsiderPages
Do not go to this gym, it is overcrowded, and the staff is awful. They told me they transferred my membership from another Gold's, but they never did and I was charged for both memberships for over a year. I talked to the manager every month and he said he would take care of it, but never did. Then they got a new manager who also told me she would fix it, but once she knew about it she avoided me and my calls. I left multiple messages for her over 6 months and she never returned my calls or fixed the problem. On top of all that I cancelled my membership when the contract was up and they continued to draw membership fees more than a month after the cancellation. This gym has by far the worst management I have ever seen.

This gym is slipping fast... by dookus d. at InsiderPages
This was a great place when it first opened, which wasn't that long ago. It sits in a nice, new, still not-totally developed building with great access, but the gym seems like it has been open for several years and the quality of the facility is in a quick, steep decline. For example, plumbing, such as sinks and water fountains, will sit broken for weeks with out of order signs draped across them with no apparent sense of urgency to fix things. When equipment breaks, it sits broken for days. The bathrooms are marginally clean, but the showers are disgusting and smell of fungus and bacteria. The daycare staff are friendly and caring, but they also seem to be up against limited financial resources needed to maintain the area. They've even resorted to asking members to donate movies and books to provide more variety for the kids (they play the same 5 movies over and over and over...), and once something breaks in the child care it is rarely replaced. This is a very busy gym at peak hours, but the management does not seem to have a sense of urgency when it comes to maintaining the facility. At the rate they are going now, the place will soon be one of the less desireable workout facilities in the area. Personally, we're leaving and joining Lifetime Fitness as are many other families.

Good Gym with knowledgable staff by Tyler B. at InsiderPages
I think this Gold Gym on Northsite and Raintree is geared more towards men than women. I think that the staff is very friendly and knowelgable. They have a huge gym and multiples of different types of equipment. They have a large weight lifting facility. I think that they also have a small selection of classes to take on a drop in basis. Sometimes they have discounts on membership, so check before you enroll, since the enrollment fees are not cheap. I feel that thier membership fees are higher than comparable gyms in the area.

PROS: good selection of equipment
CONS: pricey
