Great hip hop night on Saturdays. It's not about decor at this place, but it's a good place to dance, and not worry about what designer clothes to wear. Unpretentious. Just about good music, and you can look around and tell the people there are all about the music as well.

Something different happening every night; this place opens at 6 am! There's a party going good sometimes by 7.

HIDDEN WAS A COOL ATMOSPGERE. I GO ON SATURDAYS. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO CHILL AND LISTEN TO GOOD UNDERGROUND HIP HOP, THIS IS PRETTY MUCH THE ONLY PLACE IN PHOENIX. THE CROWN IS MIXED AND LAID BACK. THERE IS NO COVER AND DRINKS ARE CHEAP. THE BAR STARTS GETTIN HYPE AROUND 12. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE JUST UNIQUE PEOPLE LOOKING TO LISTEN TO COOD MUSIC. BREAK DANCING AND OPEN MIC TOWARDS THE END OF THE NIGHT.

Went here because of the reviews on this site. I think I was expecting too much. When I hear lounge, I think atmosphere. This place is sorely lacking in that. Linoleum, neon beer signs and flourescent lights. Four booths. Think sports bar/pool hall without the TVs. Bad ventillation, really smokey - it actually smelled like old cigerettes. I had 3 friends with me and we decided not to stay and walked over to Mi Patio for dinner instead of the $5 steaks (looked ok). Ok as a neighborhood bar if you want some cheap drinks or something, and our waitress was attentive to us before we even sat down, but certainly not worth driving out of your way for (like we did).

Surprisingly good sized bar and fun atmosphere - really good food, beer and drinks were way cheap. Best juke yet in area. Bartenders super friendly and we had a really great time. Have decided to join the ranks of the 'regulars', especially on wed nights - the steak dinner rocks!
