i've been taking my baby to Maryvale Pediatric, and Dr. Martin Berger is great, very nice, great personality, speaks English and Spanish, and a great sense of humor. Very nice attention from the Nurses, specially from the RN when my baby was sick. They need to improve their waiting room, but over all great clinic.

I have been taking my children to Maryvale Pediatrics since they were born. I have been pleased with their care, although some doctors are better than others. Dr. Broome is the best in my opinion. He is always up on the latest medical information no matter what the subject. He always has statistics and information if you want to know this information. He is very accurate in diagnosis. I have had occasion where a doctor did not give me a specific diagnosis, but he seems to be able to figure out the problem accurately every time.

I am pleased that the doctors are committed to seeing your child same day when they are ill. The nurses are very kids and return calls promptly. The insurance people have been a pleasure to deal with and also return calls promptly.

The one area I do not care for is the condition of the waiting rooms (they have a well side and a sick side-which is great). The waiting rooms are pretty bare and devoid of books and toys. This may be good for not sharing germs, but it makes the sometimes long waits very dull. They do have a TV that shows children's cartoons. They did recently repaint in a colorful theme, but some of the less-classy patrons carved and piced at the paint. I have not visited the new Goodyear office yet, which is probably much nicer aesthetically. Goodyear also has the extended hours Maryvale used to have.

Even though the waiting rooms aren't pretty, I don't mind as I know my children are getting good care and referrals to the best specialists when necessary.

PROS: excellent physican, well and sick waiting rooms
CONS: stark waiting area
