A Family Favorite by William M. at InsiderPages
A great place to eat and and talk with teh family. My familya nd I have Sunday brunch here on occasion and love the food. Recently the prices raised but it is still cheap!

Great Food, Great Service... Closes Early
I really enjoyed this bar. Our waitress was top notch, she was working the whole bar and it was very rare my drink was empty. The food was excellent.

We went specifically to see the band that was playing that night and were disappointed when the band was told to stop and 1:00 am and all of the lights were turned on. The bar was still full of people drinking and having a good time, yet the bartender made everyone leave. This was a poor business choice. Not only did the bar lose the additional revenue of staying open until 2:00 am but it also lost future customers. My friends and I are undecided on returning to this bar even though our favorite band, Well Strung, will be playing there again.

Overall, this is a great bar as far as atmosphere, food, and service but don't plan on being there late.

All-Purpose Neighborhood Joint
At the Brass Rail, you can get breakfast, (it's great and affordable), all kinds of bar chow, (also top-notch), pretty much any game you care to watch and live bands on the weekends. The bands are generally Blues/Rock/Oldies and with a very occasional exception, pretty darn good. What more do ya' want? Happy Hour? That's pretty good too. I'm a big fan of their burgers and they will cook 'em the way you want 'em, unlike so many med-well or nothing wimpy places out there. Give it a try!
