project home should lose their license to operate
Civil Servant struck the nail on the head, the climate at project home is very abrasive and they treat you like garbage! One time an employee quickly became frustrated with me because I wanted to know why my landlord was not being paid on time. I'm sorry she became upset, but it's their job to be competent. When I was leaving she said “that’s why I don't help you”, presumably she didn’t care for my demeanor. Ironically, I did not use profanity and I don't think I was unreasonable that day, but the bigger point is that she was acting like she was doing me a favor! She shouldn’t have to like me in order to help me, she should do it because IT’S HER JOB.

In addition to the poor service, there is absolutely no oversight at this place, no grievance policy to hold them accountable when they screw up and no client’s manual to let you know what to expect policy wise. They are only open 4 hours a day and sometimes take extra days off without so much as a day's notice. If you request fifty bucks, they might only give you twenty five for some ungodly reason, even if you have several thousand dollars in your account!!!

As for the positive review, you can clearly tell from the rhetoric that the writer was someone who works there, most likely the manager who has a penchant for yelling at clients which I’ve witnessed her do on several occasions. Every person I’ve ever spoken to has had no shortage of horror stories, from having their money sent to the wrong place to being kicked out in the hot Arizona sun for simply having the courage to ask to see the manager. If you are forced to do business with this establishment because you don't have a personal payee available, I advise you to disolve the relationship at your soonest conveniance. They know their clients have no viable alternatives and so they have no desire to exhibit any degree of customer serice. DO NOT DEAL WITH PROJECT HOME IF YOU CAN HELP IT.

Project HOME
Project HOME has a very large and diverse client base. As with any business, mistakes will occur from time to time due to human error. If a satisfactory resolution is not reached by working with the staff, then complaints can and should be directed through the Social Security Administration. They will determine the validity of the complaint and investigate accordingly.

They "talk AT you" rather then "talking to you", or "?with you".
Perhaps the most distressing issue with regard to this "service provider" is the seemingly wanton misappropriation of their client's funds (which they are paid for handeling, and entrusted with). I have been paying them to handle my money for several months now. Already they have TWICE sent my rent to someone else's landlord instead of my own!!!! When my eviction notice arrived, they re-paid the correct landlord, however they failed to track down the monies they initially sent to the wrong person!!! Instead they keep telling me that I "have to track it down"! Unfortunately there is no, I repeat, NO avenue for redress offerd at this buisness (i.e, grievance procedures, staffing, conflict res., etc.) Consequently, I have heretofore initiated a complaint with the better buisness bureau and am in the proccess of divorcing myself from the buisness relationship. To surmise, I would simply state the obvious: If you are willing to add confusion and an extra dose of stress and disrespect to your life, while at the same time paying for it, then Project Home is the place for you! PS the above entails only a fraction of what I've had to put up with. I have given the abbreviated version in the interests of time! sincerely yours JC
