July 2004, my 11 month old daughter's life was hanging by a thread.. she had a massive head injury at the hands of the person taking care of her. She was brought in to the ER barely alive.. and she was rushed within a short time in to neurosurgery and Dr. Shafron just happened to be the Dr. on call. To this day, I credit Dr. Shafron for my daughter still being alive. He is the only Neurosurgeon I will allow to look at her and the only one I want to ever see her. He is the one doctor I fight to keep when I have to deal with insurance loop holes. Dr. Shafron is a FANTASTIC doctor and I recommend ANYBODY to him!

Dr. Shafron cares about kids. He worries right along with the parents when something might be wrong with their children. He is a very skilled neurosurgeon who gives 110% to his patients! The office is located at Phoenix Children's Hospital, which is very kid friendly. It is colorful and well kept. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait because he takes his time with each patient. I don't mind waiting, since I know he will give the same time to my daughter.
