Venice Pizza used to be one of the few of my favorite places to get pizza in the valley. The specialized crusts were mouth watering, the right amount of sauce was put onto each pizza, the toppings always tasted fresh, and living only half a mile away from the shop meant that the pizza was always delivered hot and fresh. However, within the past year the quality of the pizza, wings, and service has declined. For example, when I ordered the specialty sesame seed crust they brought me a pizza that had sesame seeds poured throughout the entire pizza instead of on only on the crust. The wings I ordered had very little sauce and were so overcooked that the meat was like biting into a piece of jerky.Thinking I must have gotten an order from a new trainee or something, I didn't want to give up on them just yet. So, the next week I called them to place an order 2 HOURS BEFORE THEY CLOSED they kept answering the phone & hanging up. When I finally was able to get someone on the phone they told me they weren't doing anymore deliveries that night. I then drove down to the store to talk to the owner or manager about what was going on & everyone there acted like they didn't care. In fact they all shrugged their shoulders & as in saying "Oh Well". I will never give them business again and will try to detour anyone else I can from ordering from that establishment.
