Been eating at The Original Wineburgers since 1978, I've tried others but always return. New owners since 2005 and they have added fried food, Fries, wings and etc. Sites on web and Facebook. Pool, darts and games. Family atmosphere and friendly staff. This is just north of Bethany Home Rd on east side of 19th Ave. Recommended for the Best Burger in Town.

Can't say a bad thing about this place. Great food, Cold beer and a great place to relax on a Sunday and watch football.

So i asked a co-worker wheres a good place to get a burger in Phoenix and he recommended this place, i finally tried it Monday and let me tell you it has to be the best burger i tasted so far. I just got an order to go so i don't know how the atmosphere is from a peek inside it looked like a bar. It?s soooooo good; it?s what a gourmet burger should taste like, mouth watering melt in your mouth goodness. Everything taste really fresh and whatever they put in the meat it?s just delicious. I found my new favorite place to get burgers from; I will be coming here again. They also have beer battered fries which are good also, they didn?t look good at first but I took one bite and looks were sure deceiving because they were pretty good. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for the best tasting burger in Phoenix thus far.

While the Original Wineburger on 19th & Bethany Home has changed hands twice since John used to own and run it, its burgers still have that "If I made it myself, this is what I'd want it to taste like" kind of flavor. The burgers can be ordered your way, and may or may not come that way, depending on how busy the cook is and current fears of e. coli. However, they taste great no matter what, and the service is friendly, if not always the most efficient. Atmosphere? Neighborhood bar-like. The Super Wineburger is 2/3 lb. of great flavor! My only real gripe is when I order a burger medium rare, I have to tell the cook when to turn/remove it so it's not overcooked. All in all, it's still highly recommended.
