"Not So Much"I have been to The Phoenician at least ten times in the last 8 years. I used to consider it a home away from home...but just cancelled a reservation for March. During a number of recent phone calls, I found the staff rude and condescending and the place has definitely faded - the common areas need some sprucing up. For the amount you spend there, I think a little respect and attention would...

"Best quality course I have played by Gary B. at InsiderPages "Took my father-in-law to play and the course was great. The only bad thing was we had to play cart golf, and during the AZ summers, that can be murder. Price is high, but understandable.

This course runs through some of the most expensive homes in Scottsdale. It is expensive to play this course but you can get on through the concierge. "Nice little course by linda m. at InsiderPages "This is a great neighborhood course. There is nothing overly exclusive like the country club courses but it is very reasonable and they are very friendly. It is also great for families as they offer lessons for kids and tournaments as well. Our kids loved taking lessons here. You can also just go out and hit balls for practice. They do have carts available as well.

"Sanctuary is great by Thea S. at InsiderPages "I contracted Sanctuary Golf Course at Westworld for our 36th golf tournament. After years at the Phoenician and other local courses, we happily moved to Sanctuary because they had much more competitive pricing and the staff is awesome. We will definitely return to Sanctuary in years to come.

"Very Unfriendly Staff and poor golf etiquette by Staff"The groundskeepers were very annoying during our round of early morning golf. They followed us from hole to hole. They were yelling to each other as we were trying to play through. They were even having their lunch in the bunker and were not holding back the conversation. There was a dump trunk on the course that was continually backing up, so the annoying beep was very distracting....

"Golf Club by M P. at InsiderPages "The Troon North Golf Club is beautiful, I was just there for a wedding, what a beautiful place to have an outdoor wedding. Later they moved us inside to eat. The room was gorgeous and the food was very good. The wait staff was experienced and accommodating. I would recommend trying this place.

"What? by Sam M. at InsiderPages "I went and played this course after reading the other review. There is no front and back 9...there is only 9. The staff was friendly, but is not professional like other nearby courses. It would be a decent layout for 9 holes if it was kept up well. It just seems like it has been neglected for years. Put some money in this place a bring it up to snuff! I do like the lighted night driving...
