"fun and beautiful by Jon M. at InsiderPages "This is a beautiful place to visit whether you are a Phoenix native, or simply visiting. It has a great trail to walk where you can see lots of different plant life from Arizona and learn about it. They have butterly pavilion which is really interesting and fun. Kids will love the butterflies, but may be a bit bored with the rest of the place.
PROS: butterfly pavilion

"Phoenix Art Musuem"I love the days you can get in for free. I believe it's Tuesday or Wednesday. The outside has so much great stuff. The little garden and the mini water fall. I think there is a little restaurant too!! ...
"Nice, but..."While we enjoyed most of the art exhibited, we do not enjoy bunch of rules written in a tiny piece of paper and the attendants watched us like a hawk. Here is one that is 'verbally' informed no food or drink, as one of the attendants asked whether we wanted her to throw the water away for us. To finish the entire museum collections, it took us about 2 hours with no water. But, there is...

"Baby girls love this place by Prachi N. at InsiderPages "I took my 4 year old niece to this place and the look of delight on her face was of pure pleasure. They are a lot of antique toys and dollhouses. The admission fee is peanuts and is nice place for a saturday outing. Even the grownups enjoy a glimpse of toys of the past

"Phoenix Museum of History"Unfortunately this museum CLOSED in June 2009 according to the sign posted on the museum entrance doors. I was very disappointed that I was unable to see this museum. Hopefully the "powers that be" will find some way to fund operations again soon. I was looking forward to spending time viewing exhibits here and learning more about Phoenix. If I am ever back in Phoenix, I will call...
