"I love the events that take place year around at Sharlot Hall."I love the events that take place year around at Sharlot Hall. All of the buildings are wheelchair friendly as well as the landscape in which they are nestled. Wheelchair accessible parking during events can be challenging, yet the staff works works very hard to meet all of the needs of those who want to attend. The history is rich with an atmosphere great for the entire family.

"A great little hidden museum. Bizarre history too! A slice of"A great little hidden museum. Bizarre history too! A slice of America I had never heard of. Exhibits change regularly and they have a yearly arts festival and Navajo rug auction that are not to be missed if you are in the area. All of the artifacts and exhibits on dispaly are American Indian.
"Once you are in the door"Once you are in the door: and pay your $4, you are told the Smoki's were not indians, but white guys "honoring" the indians for 70 years.
The artifacts are actual indian artifacts, but you can see them at any of the other actual indian museums throughout Arizona. Forget Smoki, go to Montezuma Castle or Toozigoot.
