What would have been a $1500 repair at another shop turned into a $290 repair at American Five Star. The other company was about to replace a whole bunch of parts on my car's a/c system that weren't even broken. Five Star replaced only what was needed and my a/c blows cold just in time...

"Expensive and Sub-par Work"Just had a paint job done on a 1987 Corvette. It took them 6 weeks and cost over $8000. The paint came out OK. There are areas of over-spray, mostly primer. They put in all new weather stripping and now you have to totally slam the door to get it shut. And I'm not even sure it won't leak in a light rain. The worst still is that any parts they took off the car to paint, were poorly put...
