Very poor business behavior
We hired this company to fix issues left behind by another landscape company. Jeff pointed out many issues I wasn't aware of when he initially came to look over the project. We hired him, paid him half down and the job was started and completed on Friday afternoon. We then went out of town for the weekend and were too busy on Monday to walk through the property to make sure everything met our expectations. Jeff left me a voice message on Monday afternoon stating he intended to come over Tuesday to pick up his final payment. We still had not been able to get outside to look things over, but I had the check for him anyway. He never called to set up a time to come over. Instead he just showed up at 9 am Tuesday morning. I was not expecting him to just show up. I was in the bathroom and not able to get to the door. As soon as he got back to his vehicle, he called and left me a very very nasty voicemail stating he didn't know what kind of games I was playing, but he had looked into our garage and saw my car, so therefore I was in the wrong for not running to the door. Totally unwarranted. It had not even been two business days since the job was finished and he stated in his message that if he didn't have his payment of $470 in hand by 11 am that day (Tuesday), he was turning us over to collections. I was absolutely floored. Especially since we had discussed an ongoing maintenance plan with him. The work was average and after the way I was treated I would never ever recommend this company. Jeff was a total jerk.

Poor work
Planted several trees and bushes for us. Forgot to turn on the drip so bushes died. Trees not staked sufficiently. One blew over, another flapped in the wind for a month. They had to keep coming back because of the ongoing issues with their work. There were so many things done wrong, that I had to hire another company to fix it.
